Wow. You guys are a lot more opinionated about the periodic table than I had assumed. Anyways, random.org selected the winner of this giveaway as… Andi W. (who likes Sodium for all of the salty snacks it provides, but admitted “My inner nerd wants to vote adamantium.”) Congrats Andi!

    Mg ME! And my favorite element is Mercury, having held a beaker of it in front of a full chemistry class in college once. :)

    Mg ME! Potassium…because it’s symbol makes no sense..and was therefore the easiest for me to remember in school. :)

    Mg Me!!! My favorite element is Copernicium, simply because it’s symbol is Cn, my initials. LOL!!

    My favorite element is Hydrogen, simply because my high school science teacher taught us that “hydrogen is the slut of all atoms.” Makes me smile every time I think about it.

    Pb (which is lead) because I always thought it was cool that it stood for plumbum… and I’m a werid engineer so I thought it was cool even when I was in school.

    Mg me! And gimmie that GOLD! Also, what if I told you I still use a vacuum cleaner from 1960? Seriously. Does that give you any sympathy for me? In all honesty though its the best vacuum we’ve ever owned. Maybe we just never owned a good vacuum before.
