Wow. You guys are a lot more opinionated about the periodic table than I had assumed. Anyways, random.org selected the winner of this giveaway as… Andi W. (who likes Sodium for all of the salty snacks it provides, but admitted “My inner nerd wants to vote adamantium.”) Congrats Andi!

    I like W, tungsten (another tricky one!). It’s used as the filament in incandescent light bulbs, and it’s almost 20 times as dense as water!

    I’d have to say AL (Aluminum) because it always reminds me of a science video from high school where the British narrator kept pronouncing it Al-you-mini-um. :)

    S for sulfur! Because my research centers on the amino acid, cysteine, which contains sulfur and it’s super important for so many enzymes! Yay, nerds!!

    I think my favorite element has to be Co, because my husbands wedding ring is Cobalt and it’s fun and different.

    Really I like all of the elements a lot, but I suppose I have 7 favorites

    C – Carbon
    H – Hydrogen
    O – Oxygen
    N – Nitrogen
    Fe – Iron
    Na – Sodium
    K – Potassium

    It’s hard to play favorites though
