Fab Freebie: Light Up A Room (& Board)

We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

    i’m board! and i’d illuminate my living room more, as there is no overhead light, just table lamps. but that gorgeous pendant would hang prominently in my dining room, for sure!

    I’m in love with two lamps… the helix in yellow, and the ocean stripe. Both are so beautiful!

    Magically illuminating a room, I would dream of my den brightening up.

    I’M BOARD

    I would love to brighten up my dark living room….between the dark moss green couches and the antique brown maple floors, (not to mention *no* overhead lighting), it’s pretty dismal!

    I’M BOARD! Did you know that in Catalonia Spain they don’t use Christmas trees they use Christmas logs or boards. Well, anyway, if I could light up one room a bit better it would definitely be my bedroom closet.

    I’m BORED! I would love for there to be more light in the living room. It is a really large room and it doesn’t get any direct sun. I love this giveaway!!! One of those lights would look awesome over my kitchen table :)

    I’M BOARD

    Well my entire house needs better lighting. It is a very old house that has no overhead lighting – NONE- but we are so slowing installing and re-wiring and one of those shades would look super fabulous over the dining room table!

    I’m board… with our dining room light. We put a cheapy boring one above the table “until we have the $ for a nice one”… And three years later it’s still there :/

    I’M BOARD. I would love better lighting in my kitchen. We have a very outdated kitchen in our new house with bad florescent lights. A few days after we moved my husband asked if I felt okay (the lights make everyone look a little pale and enhances dark circles). Haha

    I’m Board! Would definitely use it in the dining room… which is being repainted right now. It would be the perfect solution to the previous owner’s rather wimpy light fixture. ;)

    I’m BOARD!!!

    Our bedroom is really the only room that HAS enough light. I need new light fixtures just about everywhere else – so I’d love the pendant light for our dining room, or even maybe for our living room – if I decide to go sans fan!
