We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

    i’M BOARD!!

    I just moved into a new house which is lacking in lighting fixtures!! And I am lacking in floor lamps….so I need lighting everywhere!

    I’m board! I would definitely use it to brighten up the master closet! I just finished a huge project on it, which brought it into present times from its 1950’s shame, complete with plumbing pipes as curtain rods and scrap wood dangerously teetering on top as shelves. After six weeks of having our clothes on bars in our bedroom, putting in a wall to separate it from an adjoining bedroom’s closet, replacing some bad drywall, priming, painting, installing a closet system, cleaning, and replacing clothes, I’m taking a few weeks off of projects! It really could use a new light fixture!

    I’m BOARD!

    The majority of my house is really open. My kitchen, sun room and living room have huge windows that let in a lot of natural light, which I love. My bedroom on the other hand, could definitely use some help!

    I’m Board!

    Our house faces north/south, with no windows on the esat/west side so all the rooms lack natural night. I’d have to say if I picked one room it would be the office though (sits behind a large oak tree that blocks out the light)

    I’d like to have some light in our hall closet. And the stairway going upstairs sometimes seems pretty dim as well.

    I’m Board!!

    My bedroom. The room gets a lot of natural light during the day thanks to the sliding door that opens onto a balcony, but at night….ugh. I was reading magazines in bed the other night, and when the only real source of light comes from our turtle’s tank, it’s time for some lighting solutions.

    My whole HOUSE could use more light. Well, mainly the dining area and master bedroom. I went from a house that is too bright to one that feels like a cave!!
