Fab Freebie: Light Up A Room (& Board)

We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

    I’m Bored!!
    We live in New Mexico, so during the day, we really have enough light. However, at night our office could really use a beautiful Room and Board light.
    We are originally from Minnesota, so Room and Board holds a special place in our heart!

    I’d love lighting for my front room, it’s big and empty and we’ve been slowly collecting things, and a light would bring the whole room to life!

    I just repainted my dining room black. I know… I know… sounds a little crazy, but its super chic. I LOVE it. But adding a great pendant light is my next to-do, just to jazz it up.

    We’re moving soon to an apartment complex. The place is pretty, but the awful faux wood-edged kitchen cabinets are not. A pretty pendant would draw the eyes away from something we can’t change.

    I’M BOARD!!! These lights are the cutest thing I’ve ever seen….I need one immediately, but unfortunately the budget doesn’t agree! Help a poor (ok, not really “poor”, but poor compared to all the things I want for my house!) girl out who’s living in the dark! (again, ok, not really in the dark….but kind of metaphorically if you consider the lack of one of these lights as such!) :) I would definitely put it in the dining room because you see that right when you walk in the front door!

    i’m board!

    i’m looking for a pendant lamp to put in our kitchen right now! it has good light over all the work spaces, but the dining table is in shadows and could use some soft illumination. =)

    I’m Board!

    My dining room is in serious need of good lighting over the table! I currently have a ceiling fan with wicker inlay thingies…and I’m not a fan of a dusty ceiling fan over my table of food.

    I’M BOARD

    Easy, I’d light up our family room! I recently did a little with switching the darker finished furniture out for brighter and lighter pieces like an eggshell sofa, but it really needs more windows and light!

    I’d light up my bathroom for sure! The only light is above the vanity and I’d love a more evenly lit space. Or also, my office (a.k.a. desk in a corner).

    Our kitchen is soo dark and I constantly have the overhead light on, the sink light, and the stove light just to cook dinner!

    I’m BOARD – and in desperate need to spruce up our breakfast nook! Our spray paint fix for the builders grade fixture that was there when we moved in just isn’t cutting the mustard anymore. :)
