We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

Our house has an unfinished 1/2 story (attic) that I’d love to transform into a loft-style bedroom. I imagine ours finished: It has skylights, hardwood floors and is painted Pratt & Lambert’s Gossling (a light grey). You are more than welcome to come decorate it! ; )

Our house has a decent amount of natural light, the one space I’d love to illuminate is our staircase. It’s the only place in the house with a super high ceiling and a measly wall sconce. It’s the perfect place for a really dramatic light fixture (or a sky light!).

We have this crazy room in our home that is at the bottom of our stairs, kind of like a foyer. It is about 6×6 and has FIVE doors which out of it – bathroom, closet, bedroom, kitchen, and stairway. We’ve just put white board board up and have painted all the trim white – we’re dying to get that space brightened up!

I’M BOARD! Wow, this is such a great giveaway! Beautiful designs and I happen to be in need of a new light fixture in our dining area. The one we have now is far too large/clunky for our tiny and otherwise airy dining area.
Our family room could use better lighting. It has lots of windows but when the sun goes down it’s pretty dim.
