Fab Freebie: Light Up A Room (& Board)

We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

    I’m BOARD!! I would love to light up my dining/kitchen space. Even with the big bay window it has always lacked light because of our shaded yard.

    if I could light up any room it would my kids playroom. The whole room is so gloomy, it needs so sprucing up ASAP!

    I’M BOARD!

    My living room. We replaced the big ugly ceiling fan that had lights with a smaller, low profile one that has no light, because I’m not a fan of overhead lights in the main living area, but now the two floor lamps aren’t cutting it. But if I won this pendant light, it would go in the nursery for sure!!

    I’d like to illuminate my closet in my new apartment – currently we’re using a tap light until we can find just the right lighting solution.

    In a more rustic setting I’d pick the garage. Always looking for tools, bike parts, panniers, etc with just not enough light.

    I’m BOARD!!! If I could light up one room in my house, it would be my mudroom. With no natural light (except that from a window in my adjoining laundry room) it definitely needs it!!

    I’m board! We just moved into our first house, and we hated the Ikea pendant light in the dining room so much we took it down. Now we eat accompanied by the glow of a bare bulb. We definitely could use one of those awesome lights!

    I would love to have a lighter and brighter kitchen! Isn’t that the one room in the house you have to have good lighting…yeah not so much currently!

    I’m BOARD!!

    I would love one of these gorgeous lights for my dining room! The current chandelier I have hanging was a craigslist special that fit our budget. Problem is… the same two light bulbs keep burning out. Time for a new light!

    Definitely the Family Room. It’s at the back of the house. But … if I win that amazing pendant, it’s going in the entry to replace the ugly can light and to better welcome guests! Thanks for the chance.

    I’m Board! my daughter’s nursery is in DESPERATE need of a better light fixture! the room is warm, cozy, sophisticated and then there is a HORRIBLE glass bowl light fixture

    I’d love to put this light fixture in my main room to replace a dated ceiling fan/light combo. But the room that needs some truly magical illumination is my dark and dingy basement!

    We are currently doing a lot of remodeling to our new home so there are countless places I could put one of their beautiful lights. It would go great in our breakfast nook, our bar area, our master bath….I could go on and on.
