We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

I would definitely have to say my living room. It doesn’t get much natural lighting and what little it does get is filtered through the huge trees we have outside. Now, I’m not complaining about the trees, we <3 them, but unfortunately they make our living room feel a little cave-like from time to time. :(

These lamps are so adorable. We moved into our house in July. Let’s just say we have a few chandeliers/light fixtures that I think have numbered days. I’m thinking a light like this would great in our office. That’s one room that we’re tackling first because its small.

Definitely our living room. The previous tenant put in a very pretty, but incredibly dim fixture. You can’t tell when the light is on or off except for a dull flickering. We have to rely on lamps, but I think one of these pendant lights would do just the job!

My house is typically very light and open. However, my half bathroom is so dark. I wish there was a way to put in a small circle window (it’s on the front of the house) or even a skylight. SOMETHING! I love natural light. :) However, if I win the light, it’s going in my craft + office. I’ve been wanting a bright light to hang in there.

I would love more light in my living room. It’s a weird L shape off my dining area, and there’s only one window that doesn’t really get any natural light. We have a toddler, and the plugs in the room are in funny spots, so we have one sad torchier and a three light fixture mounted in a former can light. There are huge dark spots in the evening that I hate!
