Fab Freebie: Light Up A Room (& Board)

We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

    I would love to get more light in my living room. It’s at just the right spot where there isn’t a lot of natural light, but one of those lovely pendants would look fabulous!

    It would be our guest bathroom…it is the only room in the house with no natural light and it is always so dark!

    I need a new light for the new nursery! We had an awful, industrial-ish florescent light in that bedroom…and baby needs something stylish!

    I’m board!

    These lights are stunning! One would look great in our dining room or maybe in the little boy nursery we’re in the process of creating! I feel fortunate that our house gets tons of natural light, but I would love for the master bedroom to have a little more of it in the morning when I am getting ready for the day!

    I’M BOARD! I would love to use a light such as this to liven up the dully-lit space that is my Master Bedroom. We have a very cool loft-like townhouse in San Diego, featuring floor to ceiling windows the length of one wall in our master bedroom. However, although some of the plentiful California sun streams through by day, we’ve got no overhead lighting for nighttime. My husband and I are both avid readers, and so have to get by straining our eyes with 1 tiny 25-Watt bedside lamp! I just redid our bedroom in a Moroccan style & one of these lamp shades would be just perfect as a complement! Thanks!

    The current fixtures in our kitchen aren’t quite cutting it with it’s strange layout. This would be the perfect excuse for some rewiring!

    My husband and I are closing on a new home in one week and we’ve both agreed that the house’s dated light fixtures are among the first to go, so I’d love to win one of these beauties!

    I would love, love, love to illuminate our den! It’s dark, with windows facing north and east and the floor lamp just doesn’t cut it.

    I would say our literal dance studio basement. The older couple before us lined it with chocolate paneling and made it into a country dance studio. It has some SERIOUS lighting issues!

    I’M BOARD!

    Our combined dining room/living room definitely needs more light…it’s a sizeable 33″ long and the only natural light source is a sliding glass door on one end that leads to our covered, very shady deck. We have floor lamps everywhere, but we seriously need an overhead light source!
