Fab Freebie: Light Up A Room (& Board)

We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

    I’m Board! I have tiny little closets that need more light! But if I won this it would go above my dining room table. :)

    IM BOARD!!! My living room NEEDS some brightening up!! It has two large windows and a sliding glass door that go out to a screened porch so it says dark 24-7 (Even with the 4 lamps and brightly painted walls).

    “I’m board”
    I think a new light fixture would brighten up our “den”, which is a office/playroom. I think it’s the only room that still has the builder basic light fixture.

    I’M BOARD! Our bedroom definitely needs more light. All we have now is a nightstand lamp and a standing lamp stuck in a corner!

    My whole apartment. The gorgeous wrap around porch that attracted me in the first place doesn’t allow any direct sunlight.

    I’M BOARD!

    I’m lucky to have lots of windows and my apartment is generally well-lit. HOWEVER, my landlord has promised to replace my kitchen light fixture since I moved in, and it’s still just a light bulb hanging from the ceiling! Easily the ugliest part of my otherwise cute apartment. I’m ready to take matters into my own hands!

    I’M BOARD!!

    I wish my whole house was brighter. The way our house sits on our lot, we don’t get a lot of natural light. We have lots of lamps, etc to brighten it up a bit!

    I’M BOARD! Our dining/homeschool area could definitely use more light. Right now we have one small, ugly, rescued-from-a-curbside-years-ago table lamp in the corner to provide all the light in this heavily used space.

    I’m board!

    We need at least three light fixtures (to cover bare bulbs) for our house, right now! I have been looking all weekend for one that I loved, and one of these would be amazing :)

    I’m BOARD! Well, not really bored…but I love these lanterns! My bedroom needs more light, but we have no rough-ins for any fixtures. We’ve talked about tackling this some day and a lantern would bring the perfect amount of motivation!

    I’M BOARD! I would love to brighten up our family room. We have very few overhead lights and a bunch of trees, which makes the room a bit dreary.

    I’m board!
    My galley kitchen could use some lighting updating, the current lighting “situation” is pretty dull as the fixtures are heavy, dark, & it’s super hard for light to shine through.
