We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

Our living room is attached to our sunporch, which limits the amount of natural sunlight that flows in. SInce the LR is where we spend most of our time relaxing and entertaining, any additional lighting to our favorite room would be a blessing!! :)

We need to freshen up our basement office / storage area. We will be working on this project this fall and a new pendant would be awesome to add a little pop to the space – I’m thinking over the work area.

I’m board! I would light up our closet. We moved from an old house that had virtually no closet space to one that has a huge walk-in closet (truth be told, that’s what sealed the deal for me on this place), but there’s one dinky light fixture in there. We need more light!

I’m board! My bedroom needs more light – I can’t see my clothes in the morning! there’s no lighting by my drawers outside the closet, and because of some faulty wiring my closet light isn’t working. I dragged my bedside lamp into the closet for now, so there’s no bedside reading now either. No wonder I’m dressed like a clown!

I’M BOARD! I need more light in my dining room. We are using the fixture that came with the house. Not only is it dim, it’s hideous! We like simple, clean lines and this chandelier is ornate with a splattered finish on the glass. My friend’s daughter came over and was fascinated by it – “why is there dirt all over your lamp!?”
