We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

I’M BOARD … I wish our great room was brighter. It has high cathedral ceilings that make it hard (for me) to decide where to put more lights. Even though we have two large skylights, 3 island pendants, 2 floor lamps, 2 desk lamps and 14 recessed lights it’s still dark in here!!!

I’m Board! I know that this isn’t wildly inventive, but the truth is, we have an eat-in kitchen, and our little dinner table tends to feel like it’s on the dark side. I might even say that it can feel a little gloomy depending on what time of day it is, so I would definitely dress that corner up with some lovely light!
