We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

    I’m board!

    I would put one of these in our office/soon-to-be nursery! The room is currently dark and dull, lit by a single ugly round light fixture.

    I’m Board! One of these beauties would definitely be lovely for our brightening up our dining room, which has a weird faux-rope chandelier currently that does not work for us.

    I’M BOARD! Actually, I’m pretty excited. Just last night I sat in my den and wondered if I could find a lighting designer to try and get some more light into that room. A beautiful new light would be a great start!

    I’M BOARD! Dining room! The previous owners took their Tiffany style chandelier with them (not my style anyways) and left is with a cheapo builder’s semi flush mount light. Ugly!

    Our entry foyer is rather dark and drab, especially with the original black slate tiles. It could use some brightening!

    First off, I’M BOARD!! My husband and I, along with our 2 month old!, just moved into a new place. Every light fixture throughout the house is a different finish and style. It’s driving me batty, and I’ve been on the search for an awesome pendant to kick off the style for our open living / kitchen / dining room areas. So, I would pick our dining room to be magically illuminated!! From there, I conquer the rest of the house!!!

    I’M BOARD!
    Our dining room needs a new light! Our house is so so dark because it is surrounded by trees and although we do have windows it is tough for natural light to get in. Our dining room is smack dab in the middle of the house(no natural light). The existing fixture from when we bought house is UGLY! HELP!

    I’M BOARD! I would actually pick my unfinished laundry room. It has horrible lighting and it’s nearly impossible to see stains on laundry, etc.

    But, I wouldn’t relegate a beautiful pendant to that room…I’ve actually been pondering a new pendant lamp for the dining room, because I’m tired of the old fixture.

    My kitchen. Ideally, I’d love to have undercabinet lighting to I can see what I’m doing. I’d take a kitchen island though.

    I’M BOARD! My master bedroom definitely needs more light. It gets great mid-morning sunlight, but that doesn’t help when I’m getting ready for work in the wee hours of the morning! Can you say mismatched? HA.

    I’m Board! Ohmygosh, I desperately desire to be rid of the broken Tiffany shade that currently hangs above our dining room table. It’s floral and pink and orange and doesn’t quite go with the rest of the green and blue room. Help! Lol.

    “I’m Board” I want to light up my livingroom. There are four windows, but they are on the “shadded side” of the house. It just always seems dark in there.
