Fab Freebie: Light Up A Room (& Board)

We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

    I’m (definitely not) Board with this fantastic offer! We desperately need a new light for our just painted entry which still suffers with its 1980-style chandelier. Please help move us into 2010 with one of these wonderful lamps! Thank you, thank you. :)

    I’M BOARD!

    I’m in desperate need of natural beautiful light in all of my bathrooms (horrid fluorescent lighting from the 70s!). But I would definitely install a light like this over my dining room table to be admired by all.

    I’M BOARD…

    I’d light up my closet. When we moved in, the closet door opened into the closet and would have hit any kind of hanging/pendant fixture. I wanted to hang a chandelier but couldn’t find a way to make it work.

    We made a small renovation: got rid of the giant door that swung in and replaced it with french doors that swing out. Now’s the time to replace the horrible tube of florescent light in there!

    My living room feels like a cave. My ceiling fan only has 2 lights on it that work and one goes on and off by itself lol!

    I’m BOARD!

    Ah, to be the one out of 6,327 people! I would LUFF one of these lamps for my combo living/dining room, which currently has a fugly, darn-near unsalvagable brass hideous chandelier.

    And when I say hideous, I’m serious. This is not one of those that would be cute if spray painted & can’t even add a funky drum shade around it.

    It’s bad.

    So thanks in advance! Hopefully I will either win this or the lottery. LOL!
