Fab Freebie: Light Up A Room (& Board)

We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

    I’M BOARD!
    Our entire ground floor needs light: the hall & the living room , the kitchen and the dining area. We’ve just finished remodeling our upstairs, which took almost a year… I sure hope to see some light at the end of the tunnel soon :)

    I would give our bedroom more light. As it is, I frequently put on two different color shoes in the morning because they look so alike with our current very dim lighting.

    Our bedroom is not well lit, we each have a lamp next to our side of the bed but only one of them is connected to the lightswitch!

    I would love one of these awesome new pendants for my ho hum dining room. We have one of those generic trying to be too modern fixtures that throws off a ton of light but it’s harsh and not cozy at all…

    I’m board! Also bored, as many projects have ground to a halt thanks to impending childbirth. Somehow climbing a two-story ladder to paint my stairwell doesn’t sound as appealing as it did 8 months ago. But watching my hubby hang a gorgeous new light in said stairwell…lovely!

    Honestly, I would love to add more light to my basement “studio”. It is just so dark & there are few outlets to plug in lamps. Real bummer.

    I’m Board. I would use one of these to brighten up my dining room. I have the standard builder’s basic gold light fixture in there right now and it is Ugly, with a capital U.

    I don’t know what room I would like to have some more light in. A lot of my rooms only have one tiny light or just lights in corners…..but I think the first room to get some additional brightness would be the living room, followed by the full bathroom upstairs, then my bedroom!
