Fab Freebie: Light Up A Room (& Board)

We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

    We just installed a similar lamp in the nursery and I love it…I couldn’t bring myself to spring for a second for our bedroom.

    OH, I’m bored!

    I have coveted the Orange stripe or Oragne Zinnia for months to go into our kitchen instead of the horrible builder chandelier that is still there! And the 13th is my anniversary! Lucky number 13……..

    I’m bored of the lighting in my family room. One of these days I’ll get the electrician to wire it for some ceiling lights to make it more fab. If I just had a beautiful new light to force my hand a little…

    I’m bored! I would add light and magic to my master bedroom. I have the whole thing totally redesigned in my head….I have now for awhile, I just need to do it! I want it to be a tranquil, peaceful, and fun (because it still is our master bedroom :))room…someday soon.

    I’d love to add a beautiful new light to our nursery! That side of the house doens’t get much sun and it would be nice to replace the old ceiling fan! :)

    I am attempting to turn a finished room in the basement into my office-slash-creativity room, and it currently only has 2 can lights. Not very inspirational. I would LOVE a beautiful pendant light! Thanks! @:D

    “I’m BOARD” and I was obviously “board” last week when I saw one of these lovely lighting fixtures in a favorite magazine and went to the website to see how much they were. Not quite in the budget right now but I would love to light up my dining room with one!

    I’m Board!!!!

    Ugh- my bedroom!! My only window looks into another room thanks to a small add-on done before i bought the place. Sadly, the room get’s basically no natural light which is super sad for me. I never spend any time in there because I find it depressing. Unfortunately I’m the bottom floor condo unit so a sky light it also out of question. Any ideas YHL??
