We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

Sadly, my kids’ bedroom is the darkest room in the house. They have wood paneled ceilings and only one window, which does not get a whole lot of light, no matter the time of the year.A beautiful Room and Board fixture would look amazing in between their beds!

I’M BOARD! We just moved two weeks ago and could really use some light in the bedroom. It has no overhead light and the plug for the switch is on a wall that I can’t even stick a table against to put a small lamp. Not sure what the builders had in mind, but this would fix me right up!

Our office! We took out the overhead light, which was about 100 years old and consisted of two bare bulbs (it lost its little glass shades and we couldn’t find good replacements). We installed a ceiling fan but decided to forgo a light kit for now. I wish we had just installed a new light!
