Fab Freebie: Light Up A Room (& Board)

We were so pumped when Room & Board wrote to us about doing a giveaway. Their furniture and accessories are practically the epitome of the clean-lined, comfortable-yet-sophisticated, natural-material-ed (?) aesthetic that we love. And while there’s plenty to ogle over on their site, one of their Galbraith & Paul pendant lights is officially up for grabs. There are a wide variety of graphic pattern-happy designs, so follow this link to hunt down your favorite (and we completely understand if you get sidetracked by all of the pillows while you’re there).

    I’M BOARD!
    I would love to illuminate our nursery with an overhead light. Unfortunately, it is not wired for that. Although challenging, this does allow us to bring in beautiful lamps with cast a very warm glow. I think our baby will love it when they arrive!

    I’m Board!
    My house is completely shaded with evergreens. I need a ton of lights in every room! I took apart my chandelier in my dining room to to spray paint it and cannot seem to get it to hang straight again haha! So I have no light in that room and cannot use that room to entertain at night. It’s also the only finished room in our house haha.

    I’m Board!
    My living room was desperate for light… I just got a new light fixture…yay. Next room that needs a new light is the kitchen…florecent lights just are not cutting it.

    Our master bedroom could be gloriously lit up by one of these gorgeous lights. That room is practically a second living room for us and the two bambinos!

    I’m Board!

    I’m Board!

    And if I could pick any room in my house to magically be more illuminated and full of light it would be my basement. I have 3 boys and am desparate for another TV in the house. The basement is the perfect place to create a man-cave but it needs a lot of light!

    I’M BOARD … and we need more light in our master bedroom. It’s in the back of the house and doesn’t get much natural light. Would love to spruce it up with a pretty, funky shade!

    “I’m Board” I’d let my 24 year old daughter who just bought her first house pick out something. She doesn’t have much money to decorate with so she could really use this. My guess is she would love to “light up” her dining room!

    I want all my rooms to be more illuminated. There are NO OVERHEAD LIGHTS in most of our rooms (outside of the kitchen and formal dining room) – something we need to fix because ASAP because being in the dark is no fun.
