Fab Freebie: Let’s Be Fronds

You guys ready for some free stuff? We thought so.

Our latest freebie comes from the fine folks at Art.com, where you can find an abundance of (surprise!) art for your home. From photography prints and painted canvases to vintage signs and woven tapestries, they’ve gotcha covered. In fact their website says they offer the world’s largest selection of art for your home (and after spending a good 30 minutes browsing their catalogue we don’t doubt it). We’re particularly fond of their framed botanical series, shown below.

So it should come as no surprised that we secured one of them for this giveaway – specifically the framed austral fern valued at $99 (the one in the middle of the bottom shelf). This real fern frond comes preserved in a 16″ x 19″ frame and is perfect for anyone looking to start (or add to) a botanical art collection. Hmmm, I’m actually thinking it would look great in our half bath…

As usual, entry for this giveaway is easy. Just comment on this post by 8pm on Wednesday, Jan 14th with the words “BE MY FROND” and tell us where you’d hang your fancy new fern (if you happen to be the lucky one chosen by random.org).  We’ll be announcing the winner by the end of the week and, so sorry, but this contest is confined to the continental U.S.

Good luck! And if you’re new to our giveaways, find out more about ’em here.

    BE MY FROND!

We, like you, have tiny bathrooms . . . Well, OK, WE only have ONE tiny bathroom. But I think this gorgeous fern would give the room some pizzaz (as well as jive with the rest of our nature-inspired home design).

PS: My husband and I just found your blog last week, and you’ve already inspired us to completely transform our bedroom from this to this!

    Thank you!

I would have to give this to my mother. She is a huge plant person and I would guess, hand this in her office at work.

    Thanks!

Be my frond! I would love to put this in my master bedroom. I was in a fern mood earlier this year and decided to make my own fern pictures using a stencil. I made four of them (each a slightly different fern) and hung them in the bedroom. This fern would make a perfect addition and the colors are perfect!

Be my Frond! I think I would put this in my bedroom. Our bedspread is the same green and it will look great on my light gold walls. I haven’t gotten around to hanging art in my brand new (old) house, this would be great in there.

    BE MY FROND!!!

I’ve got two possible places! The first would be our bathroom — it would go wonderfully with the natural, spa-like feeling we have. The other option would be for it to go in our family room. I have two magnolia prints, one from my grandmother and the other from my great-aunt, and I love the idea of adding my own piece to the “collection” and displaying them together.

BE MY FROND. I have the ugliest bathrooms all the world over, and I think this would make the perfect inspiration piece for the hall bathroom — and it might be just the push to help us get our act together and move forward with the project. I might even get it some “brothers and sisters” from the botanical series.
