Fab Freebie: Home For Z Holidays

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries***

Just as Holly guessed during last week’s winner post, our latest giveaway is indeed from our friends at Z Gallerie. They’re back after their much loved freebie last May to put a little sparkle in your holiday season. While the big Zee-G has tons of glittery items for your house, your tree and even your dining table, we somehow managed to comb through all the eye candy and pick out a collection of our absolute favorite holiday items. So here’s what this week’s winner will be snagging:

Z Gallerie Holiday Prizes

The Z Gallerie holiday prize pack includes: two ribbed Antique Mercury Votive Cups, a silver Antique Mercury Hurricane and a set of four Puccini Hiball glasses. We love them because not only do they provide a touch of holiday glam to a dining or console table, you can even get away with breaking them out during the other 11 months of the year. And if they look familiar it’s because Z Gallerie kindly sent a set our way (and we whipped them out for this Thanksgiving decor post a few weeks back).

Z Gallerie Our House

So how do you get your hands on this sparkly set of holiday cheer? Here’s the 4-1-1:

  • PRIZE: Two ribbed Antique Mercury Votive Cups, a silver Antique Mercury Hurricane and a set of four Puccini Hiball glasses from Z Gallerie
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “Z ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: …tell us if you plan to entertain people at your home this holiday season OR if you prefer to be entertained at someone else’s house. And either way, do you have any tips for being a great host and/or courteous guest?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, December 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: United States only
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

z me! I’m a hostess all the way! I love planning parties and setting decorations. As a hostess I always always start by cleaning. Nothing says welcome to my house like a clean house. And of course candles. Lots of candles. :)

Z ME!!! I love Z Gallerie! I am planning on being a guest at my brother-in-law’s house this Christmas, although I do enjoy to host as well.

Here’s a very general rule of thumb for anyone hosting guests this holiday: Always make sure your guests have a place in your home to feel completely comfortable.

Z ME! I love mercury glass. I wish I could host the holidays this year but my tiny apartment doesn’t allow for much. By next season I’ll be in a new space and can’t wait to throw some lavish parties.

Z ME!! Awesome give away this week!! I like being the host! Aside from the dishes at the end of the night, it’s such a treat to have other people over to enjoy the things you have worked hard to provide. We ususally end most dinner parties with crazy competitive board games.

Z Me!!! This year we will be spending the holidays as guests of multiple family members back in snowy Ohio. As much as I do like to host gatherings, its nice to not have to worry about much besides making sure all your gifts get shipped in time! However, being a good guest means pitching in wherever you can…whether that be with the cooking, the dishes, or even the laundry! Whatever the hosts need we try to be an extra hand wherever we can.

I do plan on having my first Chirstmas held at my apartment this year. It should be interesting. I have not hosted many dinner parties, but I plan on keeping everyone’s cup filled, bellies full, and hearts warm with a little Bing Crosby Christmas music in the background. :)

Z-me! my mantle is covered this year with mercury glass trees and silver glittery deer. I backed it with silver leaves and bunches of hops on the vine that I sprayed with sliver glitter spray. I always worry that things aren’t perfect, but I like to have people over.

to be the perfect quest? come on time, leave a little early and bring a fabulous appetizer!

We host a holiday open house each year. This year, I’m thinking of having Christmas cookies pre-made, with a frosting station, where guests can frost their own cookies and take them home with them.

i would love to have people over this year! However it’s also great to be guests!

My tips are to keep it simple and just let the evening flow. No one will remember food that didn;t get eaten, for example. I’ve learned people usually eat less than you think, especially if you are not having a dinner party! LOL

Z ME!!! I will be attending others’ homes this year, but only because our apartment isn’t quite big enough to comfortably entertain our whole family. But once we have a space big enough, I will take over the hosting. My best advice for when I do host small dinner parties is to ask yourself what you remember (good and bad) about the times you were entertained at others’ homes. If you don’t remember it, don’t make a fuss about it. Very don’t sweat the small stuff.

Our family does a progressive dinner on christmas eve. So each of the married siblings get to host part of the evening. It is really fun-and not too much work for one person to host all the food. And everyone gets to see the other family member’s festive decorated homes & dinnerware :)
