Fab Freebie: Home For Z Holidays

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries***

Just as Holly guessed during last week’s winner post, our latest giveaway is indeed from our friends at Z Gallerie. They’re back after their much loved freebie last May to put a little sparkle in your holiday season. While the big Zee-G has tons of glittery items for your house, your tree and even your dining table, we somehow managed to comb through all the eye candy and pick out a collection of our absolute favorite holiday items. So here’s what this week’s winner will be snagging:

Z Gallerie Holiday Prizes

The Z Gallerie holiday prize pack includes: two ribbed Antique Mercury Votive Cups, a silver Antique Mercury Hurricane and a set of four Puccini Hiball glasses. We love them because not only do they provide a touch of holiday glam to a dining or console table, you can even get away with breaking them out during the other 11 months of the year. And if they look familiar it’s because Z Gallerie kindly sent a set our way (and we whipped them out for this Thanksgiving decor post a few weeks back).

Z Gallerie Our House

So how do you get your hands on this sparkly set of holiday cheer? Here’s the 4-1-1:

  • PRIZE: Two ribbed Antique Mercury Votive Cups, a silver Antique Mercury Hurricane and a set of four Puccini Hiball glasses from Z Gallerie
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “Z ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: …tell us if you plan to entertain people at your home this holiday season OR if you prefer to be entertained at someone else’s house. And either way, do you have any tips for being a great host and/or courteous guest?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, December 2nd at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: United States only
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday. Good luck!

Z ME…so I can entertain my DH this holiday season with a great “carpet picnic” with these lovely items. New Years Eve is our wedding anniversary and we always celebrate it by going to a hotel where we have a lovely dinner and drinks and carpet picnic back in the privacy of our room…ohh lala

I love to serve lot of wine and appetizers – this keeps them full and a little happy, so no matter what else happens (dog slobbers on them?) they’ll still have fun!

I love, no, ADORE entertaining – especially around the holidays! And every time I entertain, a theme is an absolute MUST. Weather it be a sushi themed birthday party or even a Wii Bowling “partii”… I love it!

At the moment I’m too overwhelmed with other responsibilities to consider entertaining at my home, so I’ll gladly accept invitations elsewhere. And to be a courteous guest, I’d love to bring one of these Z Gallerie items as a hostess gift!

I’m all about celebrating the holidays no matter where we’re at. With a new baby in our house now (fresh baked on Sunday), I’m sure we’ll have tons of people over…and with those sassy little tickets, any excuse is good to break ’em out for guests to ooh and ahhh at! ;)

Z-Me … and we entertain here and travel to see all our parents. So lots of entertaining all around. One of the best tips there is : make sure your bathroom is guest ready! Have extra TP and towels and have them somewhere that your guests can find them without searching. : )

Z ME!! My husband and I are spending the holidays at my parents house as we’re in the middle of a move and don’t have a home of our own right now. Something I always try and do is either help cook or help with the dishes. We have a rule that whoever cooks, someone else does the dishes. It’s always one or the other :)

We will be out of town for the holidays, but we will host family members on Christmas day at our home away from home. No formal meal, just grazing all day long.

As a guest, I always love to see what other people bring as hostess gifts. I love the think out of the box ideas – witty cocktail napkins, fancy hot chocolate for the end of the evening, etc.

    Happy Holidays!

We have so much extended fam in the area that we have to take hosting in turns. This year isn’t our year, but I’m really okay with that. It’s great to hang out with everyone, but it’s also nice to come home to some peace and my own space.

Z ME! I am hosting all of my husband’s single sailor buddies who can’t get enough leave to go home for the holidays.

I absolutely LOVE hosting, and my biggest piece of advice is to plan, plan, plan and do as much as possible beforehand so you can mingle with your guests instead of spending the whole party in the kitchen. :)
