We were a smidge skeptical of these faux candles at first, but after receiving a set to take for a test-run, we were pleasantly surprised. I buy over the counter meds generic. Cold medicine, head ache stuff etc. The store brand work the same on me. Gives me more money for great purses and shoes.

I actually have a few flameless candles in my house, much easier to handle with a toddler and still give me that candlelit vibe. I do have a few actual burning candles but definitely not like I use to.
As far as fake it with anything else, anything is fair game with me as long as it taste good, looks good, works right etc. Alot of the generic brands are made at the same place, with same ingredients/materials as the name brand but is just marketed different.
