Just started reading your blog a few weeks ago after stumbling upon a reference to it on MSN. My husband and I just bought our first home (Alexandria, VA) six months ago and have lots of ideas. Reading your blog has only given us more of them!
Our next project will be to go through our storage spaces (closets, laundry room, spare room, etc) that became the dumping grounds for things we didn’t know what to do with.
So far we have painted every room except the mud room, replaced the refridgerator, painted all the kitchen cabinets, encapsulated the crawlspace, replaced the fridge and installed several new lighting fixtures, a new medicine cabinet and a programable thermostat. Whew! It sounds like a lot more when you list it all out!
