Lets go Swimming!! I AM a swimmer, just finished up 2,500 meters at a pool in South Korea, were I live teaching English. Swimming in Korea is peculiar, but I’m so happy for the exercise! Just moved into a new apartment with too many WHITE walls!

I wouldn’t call myself a swimmer per se, but the print of the two girls under water reminds me of childhood and the hot Texas summers spent at my late grandfather’s motel swimming pool. I love swimming. Well, lounging in the water, I should say. I failed miserably as a swim team swimmer that my parents forced me to do when I was little. And then, as a 10 year old competing in the 6 and under category, I still managed to look like a child seizing, and I came in last, in the infamous butterfly race. Humiliating. Oh well!
But really, though. I could spend all day in the lake, ocean, or pool. Just not stroke swimming.

I think it is illegal to not be ‘a swimmer’ in the state (Queensland, Aus) we live in…either that or insane…people even swim right through winter – but they tend to be the tourists from down south. Locals just mutter how insane they are and go put another jumper on.
