I was a lifeguard for 6 summers and grew up on the Mississippi River. I love being in the water, but I prefer pools so I can see where I’m swimming. Sometimes when I’m at my desk at work, I miss sitting in my lifeguard chair and enjoying the sunshine. Then I remember scooping poo out of the pool and am thankful I have a grown-up job now.

I love to swim – probably due to growing up with a swimming pool. But my favorite part of swimming now is taking my baby boy to the pool! He was born last summer and I couldn’t wait to get him in the pool! His first pool experience was at 1 1/2 months! Can’t wait till this summer!
