Fab Freebie: French Swimming

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – see who won below!***

Well now that we’re more than ready to find a pool to dive into, random.org has picked a winner of this week’s giveaway. The lucky lady is… Cher (who swims about 20 laps each day in the summer). Congrats!

One element in our new kitchen that always makes us smile is the etsy print that we purchased by Samantha French. Remember, the cheery orange and blue painting of the lady swimming (that Clara also sweetly though included some “fishies”)? Well now Samantha is giving you guys a chance to win your very own colorful work of art with a $200 gift certificate to her Etsy shop. So grab your swim cap and bathing suit because that’s enough to snag any of the 16 x 20″ archival prints featuring Samantha’s signature subject matter.

Samantha French Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $200 gift card to Samantha French’s Etsy shop
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “LET’S GO SWIMMING!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: …are you a swimmer? Do you love going to the pool to do a few laps? Or maybe just to splash around (or lounge around)? Or are you and water not friends?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, March 28th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Worldwide!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Samantha French.

I was on the swim team as a child, but as an adult I mostly go in the water to cool off.

I call my refresher swim lessons my “drowning lessons”… I’m good enough to not drown, but I certainly won’t give anyone a good race. I love the water… I’m just not very good in the water!

Lets go swimming! I was practically a fish when I was a kid. We had a pool (not one of the fancy ones, one of the above ground ones) and I was in there every day. Now I’m stuck in a cube all day, but I still love the water.

LET’S GO SWIMMING! I’ve been swimming since my first lessons as an infant (maybe Clara can relate?)! I swam on a team in high school, and most recently worked out with a Masters swim club (I highly recommend finding a club in your area). I would love love love to hang one of these prints in my home. Also, it’d be like a little wedding present to my soon-to-be-wed self!

LET’S GO SWIMMING! I love the water! I’m fortunate to live in a community with a pool and have a gorgeous south Florida beach 10 minutes from my house. I’m spoiled and only get in the ocean water in south Florida, during the summer…too cold otherwise! I was hugely pregnant last summer but am looking forward to spending all summer at the beach with my baby (and husband :))!

LET’S GO SWIMMING! I love the water, but I’d rather be on the river or lake behind a speedboat than in a pool. My 5-year-old daughter is holding her breath until June, when the pool and waterslide near my parents’ house will open.

Also, I have one of Ms. French’s prints already pinned on my Artwork board – I saw the print in your kitchen, and went looking for the artist and fell in love!
