I’m a fairly strong swimmer, but I HATE cold water. The beaches around us are all pretty cold, so I don’t swim there. Unless a pool is heated or it’s extremely hot outside, I wont go in.

We’ll practically run the woody, rolling 1.5 mile hike to the secluded and deep (65+ feet) and cold quarry (65+ feet) in the Eno River State Park (in Durham, NC) for a lap or two then take our time on the hike out…PERFECT!
