The hubs and I removed a very large tree stump from the front yard. We uncovered the stump after we removed some very overgrown bushes that the previous homeowners used to cover it up.
Back breaking work for sure, but we saved close to $500 doing it ourselves vs paying someone to use a stump grinder! Worth it!

2 months after moving to Luxembourg (and 3 day before our first visitor) I finished unpacking our apartment / filling furniture gaps. My biggest successes were figuring out how to buy a washer/dryer in German and converting the walk-in pantry into a walk-in closet to save some skrilla on a wardrobe. Here’s hoping the lavender sachets keep the kitchen smells off my clothes!
