Having now been a father for one whole month (Happy 1- month birthday, Clara!) I’m totally psyched for this Sunday: my first Father’s Day. Another reason I’m psyched? Because our friends at Lowe’s have offered to help us celebrate Daddy Day with a handy gift guide mood board along with a totally testosterone-ready prize. So if you’re still scratching you head about what to get ol’ pops, here are a few ideas to get you started. When I was about 4 yrs old my father asked for a wheel-barrel for Father’s day. This was very unsusal becuse my father is not an outdoor or yard kind of guy. But my mom get him what he wanted. A kelly green wheel-barrel. He stayed up late on Father’s day night putting it together and then came and woke me and my brother up for wheel-barrel rides up and down the hall. A sweet memory that still makes me smile just like I did riding in that wheel-barrel.
