Having now been a father for one whole month (Happy 1- month birthday, Clara!) I’m totally psyched for this Sunday: my first Father’s Day. Another reason I’m psyched? Because our friends at Lowe’s have offered to help us celebrate Daddy Day with a handy gift guide mood board along with a totally testosterone-ready prize. So if you’re still scratching you head about what to get ol’ pops, here are a few ideas to get you started. We have a reel lawnmower and it works wonderful! I didn’t read all your 3000 comments to see if someone gave you this bit of advice. I asked at one time how to sharpen the blades? With the old reel lawnmower the answer was “pull it backwards”. I haven’t noticed that it’s a lot sharper but I’ll continue to try it :) thanks and what a great giveaway!

Good to know! Thanks so much for the tip. This mower isn’t supposed to need any sharpening since the blades don’t rub against each other, but we could totally try the backwards thing if we ever notice them dulling a bit.
