Fab Freebie: Father Lowe’s Best

Having now been a father for one whole month (Happy 1- month birthday, Clara!) I’m totally psyched for this Sunday: my first Father’s Day. Another reason I’m psyched? Because our friends at Lowe’s have offered to help us celebrate Daddy Day with a handy gift guide mood board along with a totally testosterone-ready prize. So if you’re still scratching you head about what to get ol’ pops, here are a few ideas to get you started. And if you’re our lucky winner, you might just be covered entirely (for the next few years even):

  1. What’s Father’s Day without tools? Kobalt 22 Piece Set ($50) is a great starter set if your guy happens to be tool-less. It covers all the basics, plus dad gets a tool bag to keep it all organized.
  2. If dad’s covered in the tool department, help him step it up a notch with a Kobalt 60 Piece Driver Set ($54) that has a bit for just about any job you can think of and then some.
  3. Now if you really want to splurge on pop this year, upgrade his workshop with a Kobalt 53” Tool Chest ($1798). It’s not your everyday tool storage space – it’s got a radio and mini fridge built in! Like woah.

    We will be celebrating by cleaning up the remains from my sister’s graduation open house on Saturday, and also my hubby and I will be celebrating our first anniversary that day!

    Happy Father’s Day Scott! OK, so you’re not really a father yet… but soon! My husband is absolutely amazing with kids, he even has the neighbourhood kids coming around to ask to play with him! He is really great at just being a kid with them and can play for HOURS. It’s truly amazing and one of the big reasons I married him!

    Happy Father’s Day Jerry!

    I am so blessed to have such an amazing and talented father. He has helped me renovate my first home. Since I am a single young woman, I could only afford a foreclosure and I knew it would need a lot of work. Since he is in the construction business, he was the right man for the job and has done so much of it–from replacing all of the old pipes, to sketching the floor plan of the kitchen, to referring certain companies to choose for projects, and the work has been endless since I took possession. There is absolutely no way, I would have a house without him.
