Fab Freebie: Er, Should We Say “U-Fab Freebie”

For years now, one of our favorite places to score awesome fabric on a budget has been a local shop called U-Fab (also run by a young married duo!). Everything from our headboard to our old dining room curtains to the backdrop we used for last week’s pregnancy announcement has hailed from there. And now that they’ve launched an e-shop, we’re excited to do a giveaway with them. And not just any giveaway – a $500 gift card giveaway! So, you can either stock up on fabrics… or take their custom upholstery services for a spin (they do bedding, pillows, window treatments, and even furniture). Plus, they’re all-around nice, fun-loving people.

UFab Giveaway

Please use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter (it might take a second to load, but it should eventually pop up below this paragraph). This giveaways is available to residents of the United States (although we do have an international giveaway lined up for next week). Oh and U-Fab is also offering $1 fabric samples (they’re usually $2.50) with the code ufabhouselove through October 31st!

The way we do our giveaways is that everyone has 1 chance to enter, so you have fulfilled 0 of those 1 chances before you enter, and then you have fulfilled the entire entry chance after you enter (so it says 1/1). That way everyone has the same chances of winning! Good luck Jen!

It’s by Braemore and it’s called Pomegranite. I just searched it by name and pulled it up on ebay but I’m not sure it’s on U-Fab’s site (maybe it’s coming? or it’s gone?)

      Karen,

This fabric has actually been discontinued by Braemore for a while, however since John and Sherry used it we have gotten a number of requests we got the last bolt from one of our closeout suppliers so we have 20ish yards that is on it’s way. I don’t think you can order it online yet but here is the link: http://www.ufabstore.com/pome-leaf.html#.UlNsCFCUT0c

If call or email us and we will be more than happy to reserve some for you, we don’t expect it will last very long.

      Travis

      Michelle,

The ironic part of the contest not being open to Canadians is that I myself the owner of U-Fab am a born and raised Canadian (in fact my entire family is still there). We looked at adding Canada for the site (and still might eventually) however the cost and complication on both our side and the consumers side is just too much right now.

      Sorry,
      Travis

I have a giveaway question. I live in Canada, just over the Washington state border in British Columbia. I have a mailing address (not a PO Box) in the United States that I use for some of my mail and packages. Am I eligible for the United States giveaways? My thought was that perhaps the issue for the businesses offering these prizes was one of mailing cost and not actual residency. If you could let me know I’d appreciate it…thanks!

I am OBSESSED with fabric. I’m on a very tight budget so I’ll say “sss…better not” to a $3 purchase but put me in front of a $15/yard fabric I really, really want and I find a way to justify it! I was planning on making purses for Christmas gifts for the ladies this year and this would be an awesome way to get started on that. : )

U-Fab is my favorite fabric store! Awesome prices, and fabulous upholstery work. We had my great-grandmother’s antique dining chairs with nail heads re-upholstered in a more modern fabric by U-Fab and they couldn’t have done a better job. I made my daughter’s curtains from a fabric I purchased there, and even though it wasn’t the most budget friendly fabric, I still saved quite a bit off of what I would have paid at another retail store. Maybe I’ll win my second YHL giveaway (my first was an awesome FLOR carpet) and invest in one of the new furniture items!
