Fab Freebie: Easily Turned On

So you saw me install this puppy earlier today, and just as we promised we’re back to give you a shot at winning one of your own. The Delta Pilar kitchen faucet with Touch 2O Technology is pretty much any DIY-lover or enthusiastic chef’s best friend because, just as the commercial below demonstrates, you can wash paint, dirt, eggs, chicken goo or any other home-improvement or cooking related mess off of your hands without ever getting it on your purdy fixture.

We’ve actually had ours installed for a week now and I’ve found it extremely helpful even when doing simple tasks like the dishes (yes, I’m usually in charge of the dishes, but Sherry vacuums so it’s pretty fair around here). Rather than having to reach over to turn the handle on and off, I can interrupt the water by just quickly tapping the spout anywhere, and the technology’s even smart enough to know when you’re gripping the faucet to move it (as we do from basin to basin in our double sink) so it doesn’t interpret that maneuver as an on/off trigger. Consider us impressed.

    Lots of turn offs to choose from… my top 3 are probably 1)smoking, 2)arrogance and 3)moodiness. Luckily I’m happily married to a guy without any of these!

    I’m pretty enamored with guys, except when they are completely obsessed with cars and trucks. I don’t care about every last model of Audi and whether it has more horsepower than the last version.

    Feigned incompetence when it comes to housework, general tidying, being sick, etc… suck it up and be a man! :)

    Touch ME! One of my biggest turn-offs: someone who can’t spell. I know, I should be more understanding but when reading a love note was as challenging as interpreting the papers of my 1st graders, I’d had enough. In this world of spell-check, there’s no room for bad spelling.

    TOUCH ME!

    LOVE this faucet! I hate it when my husband washes his hands, but doesn’t like to dry them completely. Then he likes to touch me with his partially wet hands. Gross!

    The only thing I really don’t like in the opposite sex is when men are sexist. Most personal quirks seem minor in comparison :)

    Hm… A big turn of for me is when a guy takes himself too seriously — if you can’t laugh at yourself and put things into perspective you aren’t for me! :)

    TOUCH ME! My biggest turn off is men that have soft hands. I don’t want to be holding hands with sandpaper, but if a guy’s hands are softer than mine…ewww!

    The biggest turn off for me is someone who thinks it is beneath them to shop at the goodwill or buy anything on sale!

    TOUCH ME! Biggest turn-off…not sure but one is definitely chewing with his mouth open! My husband does this occasionally (usually when he’s zoning out in front of the TV), and it drives me insane!
