Fab Freebie: Easily Turned On

So you saw me install this puppy earlier today, and just as we promised we’re back to give you a shot at winning one of your own. The Delta Pilar kitchen faucet with Touch 2O Technology is pretty much any DIY-lover or enthusiastic chef’s best friend because, just as the commercial below demonstrates, you can wash paint, dirt, eggs, chicken goo or any other home-improvement or cooking related mess off of your hands without ever getting it on your purdy fixture.

We’ve actually had ours installed for a week now and I’ve found it extremely helpful even when doing simple tasks like the dishes (yes, I’m usually in charge of the dishes, but Sherry vacuums so it’s pretty fair around here). Rather than having to reach over to turn the handle on and off, I can interrupt the water by just quickly tapping the spout anywhere, and the technology’s even smart enough to know when you’re gripping the faucet to move it (as we do from basin to basin in our double sink) so it doesn’t interpret that maneuver as an on/off trigger. Consider us impressed.

    HUGE TurnOff – guys that spray on too much cologne to cover up the bad smell of either smoking or having bad hygiene. I wonder if they know it doesn’t work? lol :D

    Touch me!

    When my husband, even after being together six years, puts so much food in his mouth he can barely shut it and chew! If he does it in a restaurant or at wedding or party, I am so embarassed I want to hide under the table or suddenly have the urge to find the restroom!

    It annoys me that he doesn’t pick up his laundry at all. Then after I finish the laundry he says “Hey do you know where my dark jeans are?!?” Hmmm maybe in a hidden pile of your dirty clothes ;)

    Touch ME! The joy of not having to clean the faucet after washing your hands because now you won’t dirty it turning it on…i love this invention! Pet peeve, also helped by this post, is leaving dishes in the sink. maybe this fun invention will actually make dish time more fun for him…or maybe i’m just dreaming. A girl can dream, right?

    Zomg, dogs dressed as humans drives me batty. If someone I dated had outfits for their dog I might never be able to walk the dog with them!
