Fab Freebie: Easily Turned On

So you saw me install this puppy earlier today, and just as we promised we’re back to give you a shot at winning one of your own. The Delta Pilar kitchen faucet with Touch 2O Technology is pretty much any DIY-lover or enthusiastic chef’s best friend because, just as the commercial below demonstrates, you can wash paint, dirt, eggs, chicken goo or any other home-improvement or cooking related mess off of your hands without ever getting it on your purdy fixture.

We’ve actually had ours installed for a week now and I’ve found it extremely helpful even when doing simple tasks like the dishes (yes, I’m usually in charge of the dishes, but Sherry vacuums so it’s pretty fair around here). Rather than having to reach over to turn the handle on and off, I can interrupt the water by just quickly tapping the spout anywhere, and the technology’s even smart enough to know when you’re gripping the faucet to move it (as we do from basin to basin in our double sink) so it doesn’t interpret that maneuver as an on/off trigger. Consider us impressed.

    It’s a tie between: When “he” turns off all the lights (to save money) that I just turned on at night OR when he gets tons of food out to make a snack and never puts it back!

    TOUCH ME !

    My turnoff? Guys in Speedos who aren’t competitive divers or swimmers. 9 times out of 10 they have exceeded the Speedo’s weight limit and their stomach hangs over it or they are so full of themselves because they think they are a gift to the world because they are thin enough to carry off wearing a Speedo. Both are unattractive.

    I’ll have to second the beard stubble – my husband gets plenty of whining when he’s not smooth!

    (Can I just say I’ve been coveting one of these for a while now!? Plus, we need to replace our sink, so what better time to replace our faucet, too?)

    A big turn off for me is a guy that is LOUD and obnoxious all the time – every now and then I can handle! But more than that and I have a headache.

    OHMYGOSH! This is perfect, I’ve been eyeing this baby since I saw the commercial a year ago. But it is pricey and we’ve renters. However, we are about to move into our 1st house (at the end of the month), and the kitchen needs a redo.
    Oh and I’m turned off by guys who tell tasteless jokes.

    I’m going to go against the masses here and say that while I don’t mind some body hair (a man is a man, after all), I find it creepy when a guy has waxed (or worse, shaved!) his body hair. I’m not into the prepubescent look. :/

    Biggest turn-off in the opposite sex would have to be arrogance (if this was a poll, then I think arrogance would rank as the number one turn-off!)

    TOUCH ME! I so want this. So so so.

    My personal pet peeve of my dear husband is how he neglects to put clothes in the dirty hamper. We’ve got our main dirty hamper in the bedroom near the door, and his side of the bed is on the other side of the room… a mere 10 feet away (small house). And yet, he couldn’t just toss his clothes over. So… I made it easy for him. I gave him a basket all of his own, and put it RIGHT NEXT TO HIS SIDE OF THE BED. And I still find pants and socks and everything else right next to the basket… on the floor!

    Aren’t a lot of guys like that?

    I am really turned off by poor table manners…eating with your mouth open, talking with food, slurping, etc. That can make me want to end a date ASAP.
