Fab Freebie: Easily Turned On

So you saw me install this puppy earlier today, and just as we promised we’re back to give you a shot at winning one of your own. The Delta Pilar kitchen faucet with Touch 2O Technology is pretty much any DIY-lover or enthusiastic chef’s best friend because, just as the commercial below demonstrates, you can wash paint, dirt, eggs, chicken goo or any other home-improvement or cooking related mess off of your hands without ever getting it on your purdy fixture.

We’ve actually had ours installed for a week now and I’ve found it extremely helpful even when doing simple tasks like the dishes (yes, I’m usually in charge of the dishes, but Sherry vacuums so it’s pretty fair around here). Rather than having to reach over to turn the handle on and off, I can interrupt the water by just quickly tapping the spout anywhere, and the technology’s even smart enough to know when you’re gripping the faucet to move it (as we do from basin to basin in our double sink) so it doesn’t interpret that maneuver as an on/off trigger. Consider us impressed.

    Oh a germophobe’s dream… and the answer to our next decision in a kitchen reno. Trying to decide if the faucet should match the colour of the cabinet knobs and pulls….. indecision, what a turn-off!

    “TOUCH ME!” The biggest turnoff in guys has got to be someone who is not motivated to do anything with his life and will just settle for an ok job instead of working hard to get through school and get a good job. Another one would be someone who doesn’t like dogs….most people would think that is weird but my puppy is my baby and anyone who doesn’t understand that doesn’t get very far with me.

    One of my turn-offs in the opposite sex is huge muscles. I associate them, however unfairly, to arrogance and narcissism (which also happen to be mega turn-offs).

    My biggest peeve is how my side of the bedroom is neat & tidy and the other side has a mix of clean & dirty laundry (how one would be able to decipher the difference is beyond me), random shoes, random “stuff”, including random “pocket stuff” there is a place for everything!

    TOUCH ME!
    One thing about the opposite sex that is a turn off is the excess of gas that they seem to house somewhere in their bodies that needs to be released pretty frequently (although I admit, it can be a problem for either sex).

    TOUCH ME! Love this faucet, would be so pysched to win. (Actually imagined we had a foot-pedal activated faucet last night when I was trying to wash raw-meat-juices off my hands after putting a brisket in to roast… and hoping I didn’t contaminate our same soap-and-lotion caddy as I did so…) Turn-offs? My husband loves to sit on the couch with his T-shirt rolled partway up so he can scratch his belly (or as he says, “Let it breathe”)… I am just hoping and praying this will stop when our first baby arrives at the end of June and he’s got more critical things to focus on!! :)

    One thing about the opposite sex that is a total turn off is probably poor hygiene…. Good thing I got myself a clean man! haha
