A couple of weeks ago we asked our Facebook fans to share pictures of their pets (since we talk incessantly about Burger) and got an awesome response – over 100 photos and links of their four-legged friends (which you can browse right here under Fan Photos). So we figured a giveaway geared towards your pooches (and meowsers) was in order. Enter AllModernPet.com stage right…

One lucky pet parent will win their choice of an awesome easy-on-the-eyes bed so their furry family member can sleep in style (and your pup’s “bedroom” can be as stylish as your own).
Here are this week’s giveaway details:
- PRIZE: Your choice of one dog bed from Bowsers, For The Dogs and Harry Barker (Rectangle or Round), any size and fabric you’d like (valued at up to $151).

Is it weird that I don’t have a dog yet? I am in the process of adopting! My last lovely dog loved to sleep with her ears in her water bowl. Must have kept her cool? I’m hoping my new one will want to sleep curled up on my lap!

Shiloh, our 1 1/2 year old Chocolate lab fell asleep looking out the front door. When someone walked up she was so startled she jumped up and peed! Poor girl! We had a good laugh though!

My 1-year old miniature Beagle (Snoopy, AKA, Snoop) sometimes sleeps IN my box spring!! She is a spunky dog that’s not afraid of anything….except flies! Being that I’m a college student in a cheap duplex, the winged-creatures invade a lot. Snoop has tore a hole in the bottom of my box spring and climbs in there to take a nap occasionally…especially when she sees a fly! It’s actually quite funny…(ps…she really needs a bed!)

My lab, Rowdy, who is all of 100 lbs, likes to sleep under my office chair. He tries to get ALL of his body underneath, to no avail. About the only part of his body that makes it under there is the middle of this body…his head and hind quarters stick out. After about 2 or 3 minutes he gets up and tries again!

I was just shopping for a dog bed today! Our dogs sleep anywhere that’s soft. They were both shelter dogs. When we got them (about 6 months apart), the only bed they had known was the street, or a cold cement floor. Now they won’t sleep anywhere that’s not padded or cushioned. They’re allowed all over the furniture because in my mind… they deserve it. :)

I have two corgis that are professional sleepers. They love their beds, but also our bed, under the dresser, on the bathroom floor, etc. When they are really in the thick of a good nap, they roll over on their back and bear their belly while snoring up a good tune.

We have two mini schnauzers and they have gotten in the habit of sleeping with us in our queen sized bed. It was fine when they were little puppies, but now they take over at night… This can include anything from sleeping on the tippy top of my pillow, sideways between my husband and I, or even hanging halfway off the bed. I’d love to win this pet bed so we can train the boys to sleep on the floor and reclaim our territory!

Our two terrier mixes have their own favorite daytime snoozing spots – Rex climbs on the back of the couch and lounges with two legs on either side, like he’s giving it a hug and Wrigley curls up under the bed with his nose poking out from under the dustruffle. During the night, they’re both on the bed, with their heads on a pillow or under the blanket.

We have 2, once named Nacho and he LOVES to sleep in a ball inbetween my husbands legs. thank goodness he is a small dog. Our 2nd Shortie is my fav, there is totally a love hate relationship there, because he either pushes me out of the bed or i willingly give up my bed and sleep on the couch. He has to lay under the covers on his back with his head against the pillow! Specifically MY pillow. Its about time he get his own bed! it would be amazing for my back if he were to get his own bed.

Oh, my doggie chewed up his bed (“DOGGONE IT!”) so I really need a new one! He loves to sleep on the bathroom floor or anywhere cool…which isn’t that strange really, except for the fact that his head is right near a toilet!

Our cocker spaniel, Dubs, has been sleeping on our decorative couch pillows lately. she will curl herself up into a TINY ball just to fit her ENTIRE body on the pillow. Here’s the funny part- she’s 100% blind. How is manages to spot the pillow to curl up on everytime she jumps on the couch is beyond us.

Our Boston Oakley loves to curl up anywhere he can get his nose covered! He does this thing we call “rodeo” with his blankets so that he can get them just in the right spot. If all else fails – my husband’s armpit is the last resort – eek.
