A couple of weeks ago we asked our Facebook fans to share pictures of their pets (since we talk incessantly about Burger) and got an awesome response – over 100 photos and links of their four-legged friends (which you can browse right here under Fan Photos). So we figured a giveaway geared towards your pooches (and meowsers) was in order. Enter AllModernPet.com stage right…

One lucky pet parent will win their choice of an awesome easy-on-the-eyes bed so their furry family member can sleep in style (and your pup’s “bedroom” can be as stylish as your own).

When our miniature pinscher, Sampson, was itty bitty, he used to drapse himself over the back of the neck of our sleeping 10 yr old golden retriever. The two would sleep like that for hours!

Our beagle, Wendy, will sleep anywhere. At night she sleeps under our bed, but during the rest of the day she’ll sleep on the floor, on the couch, on any of our chairs, on the bed – as long as she can bury her head under a pillow, she’s happy. She’ll also flip onto her back and sleep in her ‘dead bug’ pose, which is hilarious!

We are weeks away from getting a furry addition to our household – my husband is making me wait until we get into our house, which is a good idea in theory but oh-so-hard to wait for because I have wanted a dog for years! This giveaway would be great for the future family member.
My sister’s dogs sleep anywhere they can find space, but their favorite spot is the top of the couch. They love to smush themselves between the top and the back cushions, and they can’t seem to make them stop – anytime they leave a dog in the living room, they make their way to their favorite spot. My little puppy oakley loves to sleep on me and my husbands necks… yes our necks. If we are laying down flat he just stretches his body around our necks and he loves it. It is rather gross to me because of what is touching your neck but it is a habbit that we can not break.

Our lab pup Pete likes to sleep on the ridiculously old rocking chair on the back porch. I’m sure one of these days he is going to jump on, and it is going to explode strait into dust. He knows he’s not allowed on it,and quickly dives off if he hears us coming, but can’t seem to keep from taking a little snooze on it. Sometimes he looks so peaceful, I just let him stay :)

Our bull dog, Diesel, sleeps while laying on our feet. I always say it is because he doesn’t want us to get up and leave without him! Our pointer, Tate, sleeps wherever we sleep, she’s our watchdog!

I have two puppies. Finnegan loves to cuddle in the corner of the couch and always finds a place to rest his head.. on a pillow, on the arm of the sofa, etc. He also loves to wiggle under the bed.

Our new shelter rescue, a very large Malamute Chow mix, likes to sleep on the floor by the boyfriend’s side of the bed, with his head resting on whatever article of clothing happens to be lying there. Recently the boyfriend brought home a freebie from work, a soft-sided ice chest, and stuck it by the bed. This is now the dog’s favorite pillow!

My pups would sleep just about anywhere – preferably with head on my foot, though. One of my kitties past was the funniest, though. You could either find him on top of the back of a chair (off of which he would often fall when he decided to roll over) or inside an antique bucket.

Elaine (our Basset Hound) was an inside dog until about 6 months ago. She was having a bit of trouble adjusting to not sleeping on the couch watching Food Network all day, so we bought her a dog house. We’re in Texas and the heat is brutal, so she now has the only Window A/C unit on a dog house I’ve ever seen! She stays in her house pretty much all day, with just her head sticking out so she can see whats going on in the rest of the backyard.
