After lots of love proclamations for NSYNC, NKOTB and more, random.org has survived boy-band-mania and crowned our winner as… Megan G (who says she loves the original boy band…The Beatles). Congrats Megan!
In the spirit of a week of cleaning & organizing, who could use a new lawn mower to tidy things up outside? Well, someone’s getting this puppy (valued at $339) thanks to Lawn-Boy. It’s self propelled, easy to start, and features a “Blade Stop” system that allows you to turn off the blades without killing the engine, which comes in handy if you’ve got a lawn frequently peppered with sticks or toys (not that I’m speaking from experience or anything).

No real favorite boy band! I guess in all honesty it would have to be my own boys singing away at the top of their lungs to the radio! In this age of electronic everything it is kind of nice for kids to be able to just have fun enjoying music! Now only if I could get them to mow the lawn…

I was a serious NKOTB fan. My 3rd grade teacher was an old family friend to Joey M. before moving from Boston to the Midwest. When the New Kids came to do a show there, he phoned her to say hello and that they were in town and left a message on her answering machine. (this was back in the days of cassette tape answering machines) She brought the tape into school the next day and played it for the entire class and all the girls lost their minds. It was so bad, that the principle had to be called in to help regain control of the whimpering schoolgirls. I would pay money to re-visit the scene now as an adult. I am sure it was hysterical. xoxo

NKOTB was my first love–I was about 4 years old! In fact, one of my earliest memories is of my neighbor ordering the Pay Per View NKOTB concert and inviting all the girls in our neighborhood over for a slumber party! We had our NKOTB sleeping bags and pillow cases! We ate and played… and all fell asleep before the concert started!

OH BOY! My favorite would probably be ‘N Sync, as they were the new, young, even cooler version of the Backstreet Boys right when the girls in my grade were into that sort of thing. (I, on the other hand, dedicated most of my listening hours to country music stations in my mom’s car. Or oldies. I did own an ‘N Sync album, though, and a friend gave me the Backstreet Boys’ as a joke.)
