After lots of love proclamations for NSYNC, NKOTB and more, random.org has survived boy-band-mania and crowned our winner as… Megan G (who says she loves the original boy band…The Beatles). Congrats Megan!
In the spirit of a week of cleaning & organizing, who could use a new lawn mower to tidy things up outside? Well, someone’s getting this puppy (valued at $339) thanks to Lawn-Boy. It’s self propelled, easy to start, and features a “Blade Stop” system that allows you to turn off the blades without killing the engine, which comes in handy if you’ve got a lawn frequently peppered with sticks or toys (not that I’m speaking from experience or anything).

I grew up in the Backstreet Boys and N*Sync era and I can honestly say I NEVER owned either cd nor liked their bubble gum pop music. I was always a Boys II Men and Mariah Carey fan (still am) and would blast that on the stereo instead. While my friends were wearing t-shirts w/ a huge image of Justin Timberlake or BSB, I was trying to convince them to enjoy “real” music… it never happened, but now I get to tease them about being so obsessed with them ;)

My fav band when I was younger was NKOTB (yes, I’m an 80’s baby!) Now I’m *slightly* more eclectic in my musical choices but I tend to enjoy upbeat country & pop (Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry) and ‘older’ country (Johnny Cash, Garth Brooks, Shania Twain). All that said, the CD in my car right now is actually my son’s and full of fun songs like “The Ants Go Marching”, “Row Row Row Your Boat”, & “Wheels on the Bus”… yeah, he’s 3 in case you wondered. :-)

Well, my first ever concert was Boyz II Men, BUT, I had a comeplete LOVE of NSYNC! It was a real obsession, to the point where I actually would watch their music videos over and over just to learn the coreography.
Plus, we just bought a house and we can’t afford a mower, and we want our neighbors not to hate us!!

i had a secret love of boy bands…started with NKOTB, continued through B2M and hit it’s peak with NSYNC/BSB. And as much as i make fun of him, i love the Biebs (not really a band, but he’s a boy and super cheesy) and those One Direction boys are so cute! Seriously, i love cheesy music.
