After lots of love proclamations for NSYNC, NKOTB and more, random.org has survived boy-band-mania and crowned our winner as… Megan G (who says she loves the original boy band…The Beatles). Congrats Megan!
In the spirit of a week of cleaning & organizing, who could use a new lawn mower to tidy things up outside? Well, someone’s getting this puppy (valued at $339) thanks to Lawn-Boy. It’s self propelled, easy to start, and features a “Blade Stop” system that allows you to turn off the blades without killing the engine, which comes in handy if you’ve got a lawn frequently peppered with sticks or toys (not that I’m speaking from experience or anything).

Oh boy… I remember going with my tween girlfriend by ourselves to the nsync concert at our local fair! It was before anyone knew about them much, but they were soooo cute that we were hooked IMMEDIATLY and even now my husband will rock out with me to some nsync holiday goodness for Christmas ha ha!

My all time favorite “boy” band is the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem.. These Irish “boys” made my heart sing, and I was thrilled to death many years ago to even get to meet one of them.
My new favorite boy band is another Irish group called “Flogging Molly”.. these boys play Irish punk rock…(yes, I’m getting wilder in my older days! ha!)

I was a pretty die hard 98 Degrees fan – in fact, they were the first concert I ever went to. And I’m not sure if you can consider them a boy band, but the first CD I ever asked for (at age 7) was the Beach Boys. And I did a smashing rendition of Surfin’ USA on my sister’s aligator shaped see-saw complete with beach ball, swim suit, and scrunchie.
