After lots of love proclamations for NSYNC, NKOTB and more, random.org has survived boy-band-mania and crowned our winner as… Megan G (who says she loves the original boy band…The Beatles). Congrats Megan!
In the spirit of a week of cleaning & organizing, who could use a new lawn mower to tidy things up outside? Well, someone’s getting this puppy (valued at $339) thanks to Lawn-Boy. It’s self propelled, easy to start, and features a “Blade Stop” system that allows you to turn off the blades without killing the engine, which comes in handy if you’ve got a lawn frequently peppered with sticks or toys (not that I’m speaking from experience or anything).

OH BOY!! Used to dig the boy band NKOTB when they were super popular! I would pretend Joey was my boyfriend and my sister selected Danny as hers. Lol great and funny memories to think back on this morning…..however I have to admit I did roll my eyes at the thought of boy bands now…just not digging the pop star boy groups anymore. OH BOY! Last summer my sister and I went to the New Kids/Backstreet Boy reunion tour. It was ridiculous and so fun. We both lost our voices shrieking like school girls. And yes, I was 30 at the time.

OH BOY!! I wasn’t obsessed with a boy band, but my oldest daughter was/is. And it was…HANSON!! MMMMBop played in our house all the time!! And she STILl to this day goes to see them every year when they play here (Dallas) and also participates in their walk before their shows. I think she even has met and spoken with Isaac. She says now their music has grown up with them.
She was also obsessed with N Sync (we even did the bye bye bye dance camping one time during a group talent show) and Joey was her favorite boy with them.
Finally, she is STILL obsessed with a girl group too–the Spice Girls (can you tell her age by all this?). She still follows their independent careers also.
