After lots of love proclamations for NSYNC, NKOTB and more, random.org has survived boy-band-mania and crowned our winner as… Megan G (who says she loves the original boy band…The Beatles). Congrats Megan!
In the spirit of a week of cleaning & organizing, who could use a new lawn mower to tidy things up outside? Well, someone’s getting this puppy (valued at $339) thanks to Lawn-Boy. It’s self propelled, easy to start, and features a “Blade Stop” system that allows you to turn off the blades without killing the engine, which comes in handy if you’ve got a lawn frequently peppered with sticks or toys (not that I’m speaking from experience or anything).

I actually really loved O-Town when they were out! When I was young the popular bands were N’Sync and BSB… I leaned towards BSB just because everyone I knew loved N’Sync… such a rebel, I know!

OH BOY!!! Wouldn’t it be wonderful to have that mower, I have been pushing a really old push mower that is from the same decade as most boy bands- N Sync and such. I have to say I am one to do a bit of eye rolling when it comes to boy bands, I was more into the alternative side of music! I would die for this mower, we need it so bad, and don’t have any money to put towards a new one! Mmmmmmm-Bop!

OH BOY! Um … does Simon and Garfunkel count? Ha! Or PHISH, before they were big and then broke up? Am I dating myself here? (During the seven years my husband and I dated before getting married — we met quite young — we saw 67 PHISH concerts together. Well, in between college and work. But when we could, we did!)
Now, we’re parents and all grown up and this is the year of “big birthdays” (Boooo…) But I’m thinking the “self-propelled” feature is good for us hitting the Big 4-0. Aint as young as we used to be. Need all the help propelling we can get. :)

If I want to stick to my throwback roots it would have to be the Backstreet Boys. Once high school flew around, though, my tastes changed and while a lot of my favorite bands are comprised of boys I wouldn’t necessarily classify them as “boy bands” :)

Never a big fan of any of any them, but I would say NSYNC. Liked them ok, it’s more the crazy girls that listened to the boy bands I didn’t like :)
