After lots of love proclamations for NSYNC, NKOTB and more, random.org has survived boy-band-mania and crowned our winner as… Megan G (who says she loves the original boy band…The Beatles). Congrats Megan!
In the spirit of a week of cleaning & organizing, who could use a new lawn mower to tidy things up outside? Well, someone’s getting this puppy (valued at $339) thanks to Lawn-Boy. It’s self propelled, easy to start, and features a “Blade Stop” system that allows you to turn off the blades without killing the engine, which comes in handy if you’ve got a lawn frequently peppered with sticks or toys (not that I’m speaking from experience or anything).

OH BOY! I’m a dork … When I was a kid, I discovered my Mom’s old vinyl, so my fave boy band was The Monkees. Used to watch them on Nick at Nite, too, :-)

I grew up in the suburbs of Boston and was privy to the entree of NKOTB before they became a worldwide phenomenon. I have fond memories of sighing over Joey McIntrye on channel V-66 on our 16″ black and white. He spoke to my 11 year old heart.

I am an old NKOTB fan. I saw them this summer with my teacher friends and we rocked out neon glow-in-the-dark puff paint on our shirts. They *might* have said “Teachers love Kids… NKOTB.” I was newly pregnant, so it was my daughter’s first concert too.

Oh boy! My favorite band from back in the day (middle school) was Immature! I would go crazy over them! I had every poster of them plastered on my wall, blasted their albums in my room all the time, and would always know where they were going to be featured next — if it was in a magazine or on a tv show — and I was glued! lol
