After lots of love proclamations for NSYNC, NKOTB and more, random.org has survived boy-band-mania and crowned our winner as… Megan G (who says she loves the original boy band…The Beatles). Congrats Megan!
In the spirit of a week of cleaning & organizing, who could use a new lawn mower to tidy things up outside? Well, someone’s getting this puppy (valued at $339) thanks to Lawn-Boy. It’s self propelled, easy to start, and features a “Blade Stop” system that allows you to turn off the blades without killing the engine, which comes in handy if you’ve got a lawn frequently peppered with sticks or toys (not that I’m speaking from experience or anything).

OH BOY! My favorite was a Korean boy band that was wildly popular when I lived there in ’97. The band’s name was H.O.T – yes, with just two periods! Apparently the name stands for “High-five of Teenager”. Um, yeah. But, in my defense, they were awesome!

OH BOY! My favorite boy band of all time? That’s a no brainer: Backstreet Boys! I was a young adult with two little kiddos when BSB was in their prime. I danced around my house many a time with my babies in my arms; they loved it as much as I did! Four years ago when BSB started touring again, I took my at-the-time 16-year-old daughter with me to see them in concert. They were AMAZing…with their boy band moves and all. I was definitely transported a “few” years back in time. =)

OH BOY! i got into the backstreet boys pretty hard. but then i saw n’sync on the disney channel special, and all bets were off. i played “no strings attached” into the ground. and that crazy video where the room is spinning, so great. i can still do the dance.

I liked BSB, NSYNC, O-Town, but my all time favorite had to be Hanson! I just knew I was going to marry Zac.

OH BOY, I was “too cool” and “too punk rock” to like boy bands in my day. That’s why I totally made my niece copy all her Backstreet Boys tapes for me and sneak them to me so I could listen to them in my car when no one else was around.
