After lots of love proclamations for NSYNC, NKOTB and more, random.org has survived boy-band-mania and crowned our winner as… Megan G (who says she loves the original boy band…The Beatles). Congrats Megan!
In the spirit of a week of cleaning & organizing, who could use a new lawn mower to tidy things up outside? Well, someone’s getting this puppy (valued at $339) thanks to Lawn-Boy. It’s self propelled, easy to start, and features a “Blade Stop” system that allows you to turn off the blades without killing the engine, which comes in handy if you’ve got a lawn frequently peppered with sticks or toys (not that I’m speaking from experience or anything).

Rolled my eyes…BUT…we just had a wrestling match with our lawn mower on Saturday, it didn’t start, and after tinkering around for a couple hours we bit the bullet and went to buy a new one. Being el cheapos we opted for the $160 push model, which was a huge mistake for our uneven yard. The front is littered with roots and was pretty much impossible to get through (we even lost a wheel)! Crossing my fingers on this one :)

My all-time favorite boy band has to be my boys here at home. My hubby rocks the drums, 23-month-old son is always on the tambourine (he gallops while playing- it’s his thing!), and my 9-month-old son sing-screeches! It’s awesome! :)

As to the question, yes, eyerolling commenced. But I was instantly transported to senior year of high school when we had a blast one afternoon with Tiffany lipsynching contests, Debbie Gibson look alike competition, and transformed Twister’s red/green/blue/yellow combo to be the faces of NKOTB’s Donnie/Danny/Joey/Jordan/Jonathan. (And yes, I had to look that up because I could only remember three of them.)
