After lots of love proclamations for NSYNC, NKOTB and more, random.org has survived boy-band-mania and crowned our winner as… Megan G (who says she loves the original boy band…The Beatles). Congrats Megan!
In the spirit of a week of cleaning & organizing, who could use a new lawn mower to tidy things up outside? Well, someone’s getting this puppy (valued at $339) thanks to Lawn-Boy. It’s self propelled, easy to start, and features a “Blade Stop” system that allows you to turn off the blades without killing the engine, which comes in handy if you’ve got a lawn frequently peppered with sticks or toys (not that I’m speaking from experience or anything).

I like the group that sings “we are young” except when you listen to the words it’s really not a nice song at all. Why can’t bands sing nicer lyrics? I realize this post makes me sound like I’m about 45 – but I’m only 27!

OH BOY! Boy bands stinkin’ rock… they give the 13 year old girl in all of us a little reason to swoon! In my opinion no one will ever be as awesome as Boyz II Men (classics!) but NSync (b/c of Justin & JC) hold a special place in my heart! Newest boy bands are okay.. I just can’t sing their jams in my ‘I’ve got vocals like no other’ voice as well!

Semi-proud to say I was never really into boy bands, though on a long road trip back in high school (with my parents) from PA to Florida my cousin and I sang “I want it that way” at the top of our lungs every time it came on the radio because it drove my dad nuts. Ahh, memories.
