Last winter we had a blast at the Richmond Craft Mafia’s Handmade Holiday fair (and later gave away some of our favorite finds). And when we caught wind of their Spring Bada-Bing event happening this Sunday we were all sorts of excited. So we worked with them to put together another craft-tastic, wholly-handmade, reeking-of-Richmond prize pack featuring some of the Craft Mafia’s most active members – and it totals over $350 in value! I LOVE when it staying light later into the afternoon! I feel like I can get SO much more accomplished with an extra hour or two of daylight! For me, darkness = sleepliness. Winter in New England is not good for me. :)

This past weekend was the first time this spring that we had decent weather up here in the Seattle area. I loved getting re-acquainted with the sunshine! I also love seeing the daffodils, hyacinth, and tulips starting to bloom in my yard. :)

I love spring. I am originally from VA (and went to college in Richmond at VCU) where tornadoes are few and far between and spring was always my favorite season. Now that I live in St. Louis, I have a love-hate relationship with the season that brings warmer weather and flowers, but with it… tornado season. Tornadoes scare the crap out of me, but this spring has been pretty mild on the tornado front, so I’m loving that more than anything this year. Here’s hoping it continues that way…
