Last winter we had a blast at the Richmond Craft Mafia’s Handmade Holiday fair (and later gave away some of our favorite finds). And when we caught wind of their Spring Bada-Bing event happening this Sunday we were all sorts of excited. So we worked with them to put together another craft-tastic, wholly-handmade, reeking-of-Richmond prize pack featuring some of the Craft Mafia’s most active members – and it totals over $350 in value! Spring had not arrived in the Pacific Northwest, so we left for Hawaii. Unfortunately spring decided to move to Seattle and Seattle weather followed us to Hawaii. Sigh.

well, since i live in portland, we’ve yet to see spring truly arrive. there have been glimpses of warmer days and that’s what i’m really looking forward to-time outdoors with my family playing in the yard, swimming in the kiddie pool, gardening, riding bikes, camping! the list goes on and on. can’t wait for warmer weather!!!

I was out in Ohio just as all the flowering trees started blooming. Bradford Pear, weeping cherry, tulip…there were so many petals floating around that they collected in the gutters like snowdrifts. So cool, and so unlike anything we have out in dry, arrid San Diego.
