Last winter we had a blast at the Richmond Craft Mafia’s Handmade Holiday fair (and later gave away some of our favorite finds). And when we caught wind of their Spring Bada-Bing event happening this Sunday we were all sorts of excited. So we worked with them to put together another craft-tastic, wholly-handmade, reeking-of-Richmond prize pack featuring some of the Craft Mafia’s most active members – and it totals over $350 in value! Tulips! This has been the warmest Ohio spring in a long, long time and the tulips are stunning. It is almost as good as visiting the Skagit Valley Tulip festival in Washington state as a child!

We live in Texas and were actually able to use our pool for the FIRST TIME EVER over Easter weekend! We moved in in September and in the hustle and bustle of a new house and planning a wedding, didn’t get to dive in before it got cold.
I will avoid mentioning the fact that I am now virtually bed-ridden with allergies thanks to the pollen in the air and spending so much time outdoors. Yay pool!

The best part about spring here in the PNW is that it comes when we absolutely need it the most. Fall and winter here can be soooo long and gray and rainy. But one day you realize, hey, we have had two sunny days in a row, and the temperature is in the high 60s! And you know spring is here, and the leaves are so green and tender, and the buds are starting to open.
